Personal Care / In-Home Care Agency in Orange seeks candidate for Agency Manager. Must have a minimum of two years supervisory experience and/or 2 years of college work. Nursing and/or Marketing experience a plus.
Requirements to be Agency Manager are as follows:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age;
2. Documentation of positive work history as evidenced by at least two work references on file;
3. 1 year supervisory experience in the health care industry;
4. Valid Driver’s License; and 5. No Criminal History Record and maintain a good credit history throughout employment.
Agency Manager shall report to the Corporate Manager and Executive Director. Agency Manager is responsible for all aspects of the agency in day-to-day operations regarding:
1. Read, comply with and refer to the Medicaid manual (DMAS), VDH regulations, and AmeriCare Plus company policy and procedures;
2. Comply with OSHA and Bio-hazard requirements;
3. Corporate, DMAS and VDH audits and inspections;
4. Complete all paperwork per regulations required by Medical Assistance Services, Virginia Department of Health and any other governing/regulatory agency and per company policy;
5. Comply with company computer guidelines and attend company training as required;
6. Ensure the general wellbeing and health of agency;
7. Work in conjunction with the corporate office to meet budget expectations;
8. Complete per company policy/procedures all new admission paperwork for private pay clients and submit within established time frame;
9. Complete per company policy/procedures new admission paperwork for all Medicaid clients in conjunction with RN. Submit paperwork within established time frame;
10. Complete and submit discharge paperwork for Medicaid and private pay clients in the established time frame;
11. Completion of all required reporting to the Corporate Office per deadlines;
12. Completion and verification of billing for both Medicaid and Private Pay. Ensure that all billing is sent to the Corporate Office, both correctly and according to strict deadlines;
13. Completion and verification of payroll, making sure all employees have turned in aide records that are both correct and accurate as to the dates worked and duties performed. This responsibility is related to overseeing that monthly schedules are complete and correct;
14. Oversight of staffing coordinators, LPN/RN's, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and direct care/field staff;
15. Following the company hiring process and disciplinary procedures for employees;
16. Conducts employee orientation and training per company procedures;
17. Oversee the staffing of customer service hours and scheduling of aides for the agency 24 hours, 7 days per week;
18. Supervision of Staffing Coordinators, LPN/RN's, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and direct care/field staff;
19. Attend a minimum of 12 hours of annul in-service training and Corporate training meetings – Some meetings/training require mandatory attendance;
20. Share on-call responsibilities;
21. Ordering and cost of office supplies and other agency expenses;
22. Marketing of agency in and around the community for clients, staff recruitment, and agency services;
23. Coordinate special events and community service projects;
24. Request from the corporate office any advertisement needed for help wanted, PCA Class participants, flyers and other materials for marketing;
25. Assisting Corporate office with collections;
26. Coordinate special events and community service projects;
27. Work together with company managed assisted living facilities when applicable, and,
28. And any other duties as assigned.
